Magazine and Newspaper Features

Christina's work has been featured in several Atlanta publications.  In 2002 and 2003 her work for the Roswell Women's Club Showcase Homes was portrayed in articles for Atlanta Magazine. In 2003 she was in the Atlanta Home Improvement magazine twice.  The "Fabulous Faux" article in June 2003 pictured her faux log cabin walls as well as quoting her. She was a contributing author for the October 2003 issue, and wrote the editorial "To Remove or Not?" , which discusses the issue of wallpaper removal.
Christina was quoted in the June 20th 2007 edition of The Roswell Neighbor Newspaper,  for her role in chairing the Peachtree Decorative Artist's Guild Habitat for Humanity project. Also, in the March 2006 Atlanta Home Improvement magazine article "A Model Mater Bath", her faux finish was pictured.

Christina has been featured in five Atlanta area showhouses.  In 2001 she painted two ceilings (one a colorwash, the other a faux silver leaf finish) and an accent wall (painted a metallic parchment finish)  in the Exercise Room area for the Atlanta Symphony Decorators Showhouse. In 2002, she painted a trompe l'oeil slate  hallway mural for the Roswell Women's Club Showcase Home. In 2003 she was honored to have her own designer space: the Nanny's Craft Room and adjacent hallway and laundry room. She faux finished the walls , furniture, accessories and ceilings for these spaces including these techniques: colorwashes, faux marble,  damask , parchment and stone.

She was responsible for designing, furniture placement, painting faux finishes, executing the color/faux finish scheme and accessorizing.
In 2006 she painted the Young Grandmother's suite for the Roswell Women's Club showcase Home with colorwashes, torn paper and stippling techniques. Also in 2006, she painted a faux stone fireplace mantle in the master bedroom and faux marble on the walls of the dining room.
